I was just wondering if anyone can share their experience with exchanging the Ready For Fun outfit at American Girl Place at the same time as buying the doll?

I am going Saturday-- YAY YAY YAY!!!! I'll be picking up a Today girl for a friend, and I am considering one for myself as well. We are both debating exchanging the outfit & book toward other purchases.

Exchanging them via mail works swimmingly well, so if we can't do it in the store, that would be okay. But, how convenient would it be to just do it while I am right there with all those lovely outfits to choose from?

If you have actually done this and could share how it worked, what you asked for/did, etc., I would really appreciate it. I'll have my PS Ingrid around too, if that's the best way to go about it.
